2. Visiting this website
- Hosting: this website runs on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany. To show you the pages, the server must process your IP address for a short time. The web server is set up without access logs, so your IP address is not stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in running a secure website).
- No cookies, no tracking: this website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media plugins.
- No third-party content: fonts, the 3D animation library, images and the demo video are all loaded from this server. No Google Fonts, YouTube or content delivery networks are used.
- Links: links to Upwork, GitHub, LinkedIn and Instagram are normal links. Those services only receive data if you click them, under their own privacy policies.
3. Contact form and email
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, company (optional), the product you choose and your message. The form is sent to our own n8n automation server (Hetzner, Germany) and forwarded to our email inbox at Google Gmail (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may also process data in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. When you write to contact@elaiguide.com, the email is forwarded by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, also certified under the Data Privacy Framework) to the same inbox.
We use your data only to answer your request and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out the project. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering enquiries).
How long we keep it: the record on the n8n server is deleted automatically after 14 days. Emails are deleted after 12 months if no project follows. If we work together, we keep project emails as long as tax and commercial law requires.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16), deleted (Art. 17) or restricted (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). To use these rights, just write to contact@elaiguide.com.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one in the EU country where you live or work.
5. Changes
We update this policy when the website or our services change. Last updated: October 2026.
